REPOSITORY HINTS
Instructions on how to modify/update the pages for file upload, new information, etc.
Edit/Upload Files
· Navigate to the respective page and click on Edit page.
· Once you’ve clicked, you’ll find a screen that looks a lot like what you’ve maybe seen in Microsoft Word. Add text, images, link to other pages and more to build the page you want, then save it by clicking Publish when you’re done.
· To edit any content in a page, simply click on “Edit” option in the page. It is very easy to edit the content as it uses WYSIWYG editor (What You See Is What You Get is a user interface that allows the user to directly manipulate the layout of document). (NOTE: Do not edit any details that is already available)
· To upload report/filed, click on Add Media and upload the file from your system location.
Adding and editing tables
· TablePress allows you to create and manage tables. Tables may contain text, numbers and even HTML (e.g. to include images or links). You can then show the tables on your pages by using a Shortcode.
· At first, you should add or import a table. This means that you either let the plugin create an empty table for you or that you load an existing table from either a CSV, HTML, JSON, XLS, or XLSX file.
· Then you can edit your data or change the structure of your table (e.g. by inserting, deleting, moving, or swaping rows or columns or sorting them) and select specific table features like alternating row colors or whether to print the name or description, if you want. To easily add a link or an image to a cell, use the provided buttons. Those will ask you for the necessary information and and corresponding HTML code will be added to the cell automatically.
· To insert a table into a page, copy its Shortcode and paste it at the desired place in the editor. You can also click the “Table” button in the editor toolbar to select and insert a table.
· To edit an existing table, edit page and take a note of the table ID and visit TablePress from Dashboard and edit the relevant table.
